Long story short: Missus got rear ended ( Laughing ) in her car by a BMW on Monday, bashed her leg pretty bad on the steering column, neck pain, the works.

She's been to doctor's twice (2nd visit tomorrow) about her leg to get the swelling & pain checked out as she is having difficulty walking. She went to chiropractor today for her normal visit (she had a slipped disc when younger) and he found lots of tenderness on the right side of her neck and upper back - he took loads of notes and confirmed it is whiplash.

Claiming compensation can be a bit of a controversial subject, but this is genuine I assure you.

If you wouldn't mind sharing your experiences and perhaps recommend some PI outfits, I would be grateful - there seems to be loads around.

Thanks muchly Smile

Guy in work got hit from behind at the lights. Got a £1,500 pay out within a week, no questions asked. He had a slight stiff neck for a day and that was it. Apparently he could have got more if he pushed it, but he didn't want to push his luck as really he was ok and he just looked at it as a little lottery win for naff all.

A genuine claim should get three times that.

I love how having a crash now instantly means "Ooooo, compo." They should start giving injury solicitors offices in A&E departments so people can get their claims in just that bit quicker. Or putting leaflets in ambulances.

Your insurance company should be able to put you in touch with a reputable firm who can assist with uninsured losses and personal injury. See who they recommend.

A diagnosis by a chiropractor is as valid as a Zimbabwean $20.000.000 note.
