lol, Years ago when I was single I signed up to match.com, expecting to end up going on countless disastrous dates. In reality I only met up with one person from there, we got on well and have now been very happily married for 6 years. I'd hardly call that a scam.

We need pics to fully evaluate the situation.

I met my missus on Match and 18+ months on we're living together.

A friend was similar, fed up trying POF and Tinder so paid for a 'proper' site and is still happy with his bird after two years.

There are fewer women on them but it's a lot easier going than POF. If there were scams in the past then the coast should be clear now.

Don't lose faith!

Met my mrs on PoF and we've been married 5 years. Just have to take the time to sort the wheat from the chaff.

That fine.

Any rational person will realise that most people are not compatible, and the chances of both liking eachother equally are low.

So just be straight, appreciative of her compliment and return one if you can.

As I was taught (regardless of situation), 'always try and make other people feel at easy'. I'm sure you will do this anyway.

Good, fun option with potential to impress with sick moves.

Might get sweaty though, but I guess that's something to be expected.

Sounds fun, just make sure you advise her beforehand so she can wear suitable clothing i.e. a good sports bra, if required Laughing
It sounds like a good way to break the ice.

This is a terrible idea, with or without sports bra.

Most females above the ages of 12 would surely detest trampolining. It's difficult to maintain ones dignity on a trampoline. And as you're going to attempt flips, she's going to see all your wrong angles.

What's wrong with nice food and too much alcohol?

PS Are you actually 12 years old?

It depends what kind of person she is (and what kind of person you are looking for). If she's always dressed up to the nines and would be too worried about messing up her hair/makeup/nails, or she is very self conscious it's probably not a good idea.
Me, I like the idea, although if it was me I'd spend most of the time falling over. But I'm not a girly girl, or even a typical girl. The fiirst thing I did with my now partner was mountain biking, in the winter. And no, I didn't meet him on Tinder.
Maybe offer trampolining as one of a few ideas to her, so she has a choice?

^^^ What Fiona said but also take into consideration your date's
stress incontinence and uncontrolled flatulence.

She may not have mentioned these to you yet (these usually crop up on the second date) but they don't mix with trampolines.

So, better safe than sorry.......

Good advise that, offer a few ideas to her, if she likes trampolining and is a spring chicken, then I'm sure she'll jump at the idea. Wink

Haha.
Although if it were my partner, the flatulence would probably be a plus point. What is it with men and farting?

Good luck, whatever you decide to do.

May as well post my story here.

Split with my ex in june (she walked away suddenly) a day before my father was having his lung removed due to cancer, and it devastated me, and eventually my mates got so bored of me being a soppy shit that they made me sign up of POF.

Sent hundreds of messages, and only had 3 conversations. One was a no go due to distance, and another was just a bit of a minger.

Actually met up with number 3 a good number of times now, and we get along great. Spent all the bank holiday round hers and we're meeting up again a couple of times this week for dinner and such. Only downfall is that she's a teacher, and has already warned me that she'll have literally no free time to see me out of holidays.

Have to see where it goes!

SUPER THREAD NECRO but this seems to be the best place to post it.

Two Fridays ago we got married! Things just kept getting better and better for the girl I mentioned back in Oct 2015, we bought a place together in Dec 2016 and got engaged in May 2017.

I never thought I'd end up married, especially after all the shit I went through over the three years before I met her, but here we are. We are so happy together and can't wait to see what the future holds.

I want to reiterate my advice to not give up, and to also wait for the person who makes things feel effortless and 'right'. It's hard to describe other that you'll know when it happens, it's different from the usual infatuation or lust.

OK, bingo. It does happen, just stop swiping left for a second and actually read the blurb.

If you find yourself "fighting" for a relationship, then you're already in the wrong war.
