We bought our first bike last night!!

It's a 2006 Yamaha YBR125, 4500k in red. Its been dropped but looks like a good repair, and lets face it I'm sure one of us will drop it again at some point.

Not sure if I can upload pics from my iPhone / iPad (any help would be great)

Good stuff Thumbs Up

The YBR125 is a good little learner bike. Served me well in the 2 months I owned one...it got me through my mod1 and 2 at the first time of asking and never missed a beat.

Also they hold their value well and do insane mpg so it hardly cost anything to run.

Red is the best color, Supposed to do 120 mpg and 300 on a full tank

I used to get around 125mpg......although yes, I didnt exactly thrash around on it. But even if you do youre not exactly going to get anywhere fast on it..its a 125.

Fastest I took it to was 65.....felt like any more and it would have exploded!

Picked up a YBR for wifey this morning. Coming back on the A13 I took it up to an indicated 72 ish but yeah it really was screaming. Much more comfortable at 55-60 ish

220 miles a tank the best i've ever had...and had 68 (speedo said 75 at the time), on the downhill stretch of A3 coming out of london

Welcome to YBR world. I absolutely love mine, got no complaints about it at all. When I take my test I intend to keep it as it is great for getting around town.

Yes the royal we, lol. We bought the bike together and will mainly be used by Sarah to get to the train station, but I should be able to have the odd day out of it!!

At least by Sarah being interested in bikes, it will make buying a 600+cc a lot easier SmileSmileSmileSmile when we pass of course.

Only hit 60 as it was 9k and I'm sure 10k is not a great rev to be sat at for miles and miles!!! Plus shuffling noises too.
