Generic ching chong scooter. Avoid.

If the dealer's punting it out for £595, what's the cost price of that unit?

Not only this, but the tank is only 4.4 litres, which is just under a gallon, meaning, even if the scooter does happen to reach the quoted 97MPG, your only ever going to get ~85 miles to a tank.

That's IF the thing actually does the 97MPG which is quoted. Likely hood is your only ever going to get 60 miles in a tank, seeing as though scooters are generally ragged around.

Not only this, but when you decide your bored of 28mph, your going to end up de-restricting it, which is completely illegal, but to be honest, i think most 16 year olds do this.

This is going to cut your range even more, and you will be lucky to get 50 miles until you need to refuel.

Not to mention the fact its made in China, meaning everytime you go over a speedbump pistons will eject themselves. This is alongside everything being made of cheese - resulting in everything knacking up.

Personally I would advise you away from it - buy yourself a Yamaha Aerox or something similar if you want a little 2 stroke 50cc scooter which is at least going to get you to the shops and back without crumbling!

Good luck and welcome to biking Very Happy Thumbs Up

a customer I was talking to a few years back bought a moped from the internet cheap, besides all the shit mentioned above the freaking thing wasn't even homologated so he had to hire a van and take it for an SVA test!
