So after nearly 2 weeks with no rain, the heavens decided to open.
Just got back from work and its fucking slippy out there, I could feel the back wheel sliding out on almost ever conner.
And trying to pull a way from lights after filtering to the front was pretty mad.
How long will they be this slippy for?[/list]

Last time I had this happen to me was in a car a few years ago, a short shower after a long period of sun and the first roundabout I was going round I ended up almost sideways at about 20mph, so I slowed to 10-15 and still ended up sliding out the back end.... I'd hate it to happen on a bike though

Fuq.

I think I'll be taking the bike with normal tyres to work tomorrow. I'm guessing it will be extra slippy on Bridgestone R10s!

It is very slippy! I came off my bike on Saturday night when a light mist made the roads damp.. Completely my fault! did 60 around a very large roundabout (which is not the fastest i have done it at) and low sided into a curb.

All the bike needs is a new exhaust.

But as for me, i have been in hospital all weekend after fracturing 2 vertebrae, chipping another and fracturing my pelvis in 2 places. I am extremely lucky that i wasn't paralyzed Smile

Fuck roundabouts! fuck the slippy roads! and fuck curbs! time to get a more powerful bike Laughing

The universe is infinite, but the stupidity of the man this guy quoted is clearly even more infinite. I bet he even tried to claim compo off his parents because they had an accident one night.
