Renewal notice as proof of NCB?

Do insurers accept a renewal notice as proof of NCB? I'm with Wicked Quotes and was last year too. Last year they sent their renewal notice 1 month before the policy ran out. If it is sent 1 month early this year, does that mean I'll have my 2 years NCB 1 month before my policy expires?

Just ask them to send out a proof of no claims letter, it's free of charge.

Or give your new insurer your old policy number and tell them who your old policy was with. Then tell them to look up your NCB on the insurance database themselves.

Yes, the renewal notice should have your NCB on it and that is fine for your new insurers and no, it's only valid from the date the policy ends and you have accrued another year.

Yes, when it gets sent through it should have increased your NCB to show what it will be when your current policy ends. Other insurers should accept this as proof.
