I have a CG125, 99, And it's having some issues at the moment starting, I can't kick it over, It just won't start, I always have to Bump start it, It starts easy and runs perfect from a bump start, But then i'll turn the engine off after an hour ride, and i left the bike for about an hour an a half, in 28 Degree heat, Came back to it and it wouldn't start, But i can start it again if i start it as soon as i turn it off.... Any ideas? :s

I'm thinking starter solenoid, or starter motor. Is there a click when you push the starter? If yes, then check the starter motor has power, and earth.

It's a kick start only, Someone had this same issue and it turned out that a new Ignition coil made it fine again, They're only like £14 so i might just grab one and hope it works!

Could be something as simple as a knackered Spark plug, Have you tested the spark?

Might as well, stands a good chance of fixing it, and at that price, worth it.

Don't think it would bump start with a duff plug would it?

A friend had this problem a few weeks back on his Cbr125, He changed the plug and it helped, got him to work and back a few times but then died again.

Turns out the Spark plug cap was damp inside and was shorting to the engine.
