It's about 50% ABV, just a little higher than average.

Looks like the tesco one is short-changed at 45% alcohol.

That's Smirfnoff Blue Label.. it's a bit stronger and a bit more expensive per bottle than their standard red label stuff, and not as nice as their Black label stuff.. which itself isn't as nice as Stolychnia (regular or black).

Judging by the label style it could be up to 15 years old at a guess, I know Smirnoff changed their labeling a while back?

Wouldn't think it's that rare tbh, I had a bottle of it on the shelf above my desk at work for years, until I was told to remove it because it was 'unprofessional' Smile

That's the stuff that turned me off Vodka back when I was about 19. Turns your shit black and scambles your brain.

I would have thought it much older than that. I reckonit's from the 70's as it is in imperial measures.

Even if it was valuable, it'd have to be unopened. N'mind eh. At least you can drown your sorrows.

Are you sure it's not just American? Says US proof, but no percentage; not sure what they used to use in the UK.
[edit]Ok, probably not, as I would presume they are made in the UK.

Their advertising tends to be a bit behind ours too.

I could swear I had some duty free from the Hook van Holland ferry that was nearer 60%, but a quick google suggests that's unlikely.
Generally don't get quite as strong stuff here.

Whatever; a friend came around to mine the day after I came back from Holland - about 9:30am. He had a generous double of said strong vodka and a generous 'serving' of some other 'duty free' from Holland. Fell asleep for another few hours Laughing.

It's Smirnoff. It was not and never will be valuable.

Oops, my edit was supposed to say made in UK, but I had initially typed US (now changed.)
