Found a 2006 DRZ400SM, very clean, few scratches on the plastics, new rear tyre with 18k miles on the clock. Seems to be well looked after...
£2k
Seems like a good price? Never seen any with over 10k miles. But they usually got for much more than £2k.

I thought about it and then bought it.
2006
17.8k on the clock
scorpion end can plus original
all the documentation including original bill of sale & Datatag docs
full service history... and I mean full, the previous owner had it from new and is 62 and ex bike-instructor, recorded every service; which was every 2-3k and also recorded EVERY fuel fill up with notes on consumption...
It's got a couple of scratches to a side panel where he used to get on and off...but aside from that I'd say VERY near showroom condition.
It's also been lowered --> I'll be returning it back to standard
Also a brand new spare rear tyre + 12 months MOT and TAX

Very slow compared to the busa girls, but that's what I want. Its for cutting thru the tourists at the Edinburgh Fringe and when the white stuff hits the roads again.
I might have to remove the bush guards as I tend to hold the bars further out (on all bikes)... I'm also planning to get a few more MPH by replacing the standard 41 tooth rear sprocket with a 39 or 40. I had it at an indicated 79 (into the wind), but I need at least another 10 to feel safe. Bearing in mine I'm used to the busa giving me at least that in first. ____________________ **** Don't ride faster than your angel can fly Get this Free Space
