Cheers guys.

Can't decide on what bike. Got a budget of about 2.5k. Would love a 636, but not really practical. So possibly a fazer or a z750. going to have a look round over the next week or so.

The Z is a big, heavy bus of a bike. Fast, but its a tank.

Fazer/Hornet makes the most sense but I ride a sportsbike everyday, you can get around their limitations (seey post in bike pictures) and they're fine.

Just everyday use, work and back then a ride out on days off. but will probably be riding it all through the winter too. Don't want anything that will rust away either.

Would so its upto all that. I mean like any bike not prepared and cared for used in wet salty days itll get roughed up. Only possible downside perhaps could be fairings making it a bit harder to clean thoroughly? But i doubt itd be a major problem. Bloody brilliant bikes, especially for cost Thumbs Up

think it would break my heart to drag it out in the bad weather, let alone the thought of dropping it, might put the 636 off till next spring when im hoping to not have to travel to work. Defo on the wish list.

Yeah must admit im the same. Do ride in winter but only when dry. And do a full wash n strip down brakes the lot to get the salt dust off in spring Thumbs Up
