Fuck it to death, took me ages to get Dead Rising 2 going again

Uninstall it all
Reinstall it all

If you're having trouble updating sign in assistant or some shit go
Run > %SYSTEMROOT%\SYSTEM32\REGSVR32.EXE %SYSTEMROOT%\SYSTEM32\WUAUENG.DLL
press enter

Try again, thank me later

It's just MSN with a marketplace, it's a load of DRM bollocks

edit: actually it's a raw program that seems seperate, seems xbox/windows live use it as a backbone for their marketplace, weird, still is a cunt to get games working

XBMC is awesome.

I was involved with it's development a long time ago, when it was release for the original xbox.

It seems that Alpha is a retard who cant understand anything Wink

XBMC will play any media in almost any format.

Mine must have purely been Games for Windows Marketplace being a cunt then, had to reinstall XBMC to get it going.

I have used it for a few years, it's fantastic!

I keep all my media on a Synology NAS drive. In on room is a Raspberry Pi running Rasbmc, in the living room an old laptop running Ubuntu with XBMC on top.

The NAS has a database to store my progress through the media. So I can always pick up where i left off in either room.

Best bit about XBMC is the plug ins, I expect your mate has one to handle torrents, I do all that through my NAS and as long as the shared directories are set up right you will be able to use XBMC to view any new media you make available, like torrents.
