Too much speed + not enough front brake = pricey repairs.

Don't forget poor obs.
There was more than enough space to scrub off speed.

Seemed to be unable to look more than 20 feet ahead.
Very unwise filter between two side by side large lorries at best of times unless they are completely stopped.

When trying to slow down I find braking is more effective than shouting the word shit a lot.

He was just narrating the off-camera action.

Stellar obs fail, but at least his anticipation has improved since he's disabled comments.

I'm betting his front brake wasnt effective as he had plenty of room to reign that in.

The best thing is all the people he just dicked past will now pass him sniggering.

He rammed two lorries, from the side, then (correctly) blamed himself.

Are you thinking of a different video?

He was changing video description a few times. So it was two lorries yes.. Then he removed the comments.. and then made his video either private or deleted it.

Good example that braking hard is wrong thing to do unless your good at it. Plenty of space between lorries. Accelerate for stability and hope to fuck they dont move. Also hardshoulder was clear. Aviodance > braking.

Bike does not look bad, it just got dragged a bit by lorry, not run over.. ridable

I had a similar event yesterday... in that my obs were shit. Fast country road, I overtook a car and noticed two in the distance approaching a left corner with a 40mph limit.. I slowed down to 50mph before the corner, knowing my gap was going to be reducing for stupid slow cages that always take it below 40. I notice the cars stopping on the corner, first car wants to turn right through a farm gate! I use front brake - tire is almost skidding. I see oncoming cars so I let off brakes and filter round knowing first car cant turn into me Thumbs Up I was still doing about 15mph. I could have tried to brake harder instead, but I think I would have hit the car or dropped it and either could have put me in the oncoming lane

Here's the video:

He had plenty of time to sort that out and a good road surface to do it with. Poor obs? Nah, total lack of obs! +100 points for comedy value though. Laughing

@ Those who downvoted Cansa as off topic

How is it possible for the first post of a topic to be off topic?

Maybe G should revoke them as an abuse of karma system?
