I was riding my bike the other day and started to notice the bike revving up in neutral and noticed that the idle screw was missing. Does anyone know where I could get a new one from? and how I could temporarily fix the issue until the new one arrives? The bike has a 21mm carb not the standard one as this was changed by a previous owner.

Thanks.

Shaun

Cheers for the reply. I think its TNT 21mm racing carb but im not 100% sure as it wasn't me that bought or fitted the carb. Cant seem to find anywhere that stocks idle screws?

Thanks mate I have just sent them a message. You wouldn't happen to know what the setting is for the air-fuel mixture screw is do you?

Erm, a quick browse of interwebs is 1 + 3/4 turns out from all the way in. Yours may vary though if it has a different carb. Would use that as a base point though.

Right cheers I saw on some forum 2-2.5 turns and I think mine is currently 2 or 2.25 but it starts to bog down in low revs and stall in 1st but having no idle screw wont really help will it?

I adjusted the air-fuel mixture to 1+3/4 turns like you suggested and the bike seems to be running a bit better and not bogging down but still can't seem to find an idle screw as everyone I have contacted doesn't stock them and I sent an email to pedparts yesterday but I am still waiting for a reply.

Any other possible suggestions would be appreciated!

Cheers
