I gobbed it on Cadwell a couple of weeks ago. Coming out of Mansfield, a tight left hander, at about 40 and I lost the back end. The bike went sliding down the track and I slid and rolled my way along it.

Bike (ZX-6R) suffered a buggered crank case cover and a buggered crash bung and I suffered a £100 bill for the repairs and some aches.

I used to race and crashed a lot a one stage. My mate (Mr Pants!) said that I should have my name on the side of the recovery van because I spent so much time travelling in it Rolling Eyes

I even managed to drop the bike and break the clutch lever off wheeling into the back of the van once!

I do hope not on that erm... thing, i imagine two up restricted peds struggle climbing small speed bumps and overbanding.

I have had several erm incidents, on my old ped, none on this one so far.

Erm oh and i wheelied a crosser into a fence once, which catapulted me into a tree Razz That was cool.

Oh and i have dropped a mates gs1150 doing a tight uturn... fuck me they are heavy with a full 30l tank (i think they are 30 l anyway)

I dropped my bike on myself once in the shed, however luckily my ankle and hip smashed against the table thus holding my bike up Razz

I was pinned in that position for about 10 mins as it had trapped my arms and I was crouched over, didn't want to drop the bike totaly so just sort of sat their Laughing

Glad you all like my reconstruction, the only difference between my picture and the real event was that my bike did NOT hit the car (stupid woman didn't even need any repairs) instead as she pulled out on me AFTER MAKING EYE CONTACT i might add, i went to the middle of the road, locked both wheels, lowsided, slid under the front bumper of the car, out the other side of the front bumper and down the road a bit.

I was doing no more than 35mph, i had all 3 lights on, a bright yellow jacket, plus the street was illuminated well. I hate that stupid woman.

I also came up with the theory that if someone made eye contact with you and THEN pulled out on you, if you could prove it (very difficult) could this be classed as attempted murder. I think it could.
But like i said it would be nigh on impossible to prove.

Let me know what you think on this one as i do beleive i am right on this point.

Technically you would have to prove lots more then just eye contact. Such as the fact murder is a crime of intent. Attempted murder is identical to murder, you just fuck up the murder. To prove intent is when it gets nasty ya see. I dont have the papers to hand about murder. But lets just say, youd be better just going for assault charges (fear of violence, contrary to popular belief when you assault someone you just put them in fear, you dont have to hit them, and you can be guilty of assault for silent phone calls... so theres).

More to the point how come you low sided... if scoots are so safe. Also had you been on the derbi (as you may have found now) its very good to dodge things on. I never brake any more (well obviously i do) if i can just dodge around/accelerate past people/things safely. So much safer.

Yes Mr law student.

But if you look at someone coming towards you on a 80kg scooter and you pull out in your 1/4 tonne car you must know that there is a great chance of them dying.

Otherwise you could go into say, tesco shoot 20 people in the face with a shotgun then claim the whole " i didn't see you, it was an accident) now THAT certainly would go down as murder but if a car driver pulled out on a bike then the biker may get compensation, the driver at worst would get a claim against them. I f****N HATE that fact.

Got blown off coming over a bridge on a dual carrige way at 70mph. Not a pleasant experience. Hit the central reservationand then skidded down the gravel next to it. Luckily got up pretty much unscathed and no-one ran into the back of me. Not keen on riding on windy days any more for some reason......

You couldn't prove that eye contact = brain activity. Could just be that they seemed to look at you.

Be nice if you could though.

You go out with a gun, that is your weapon, you intend to use it to kill someone.
You go out in a car, you intend to get from A-B not run bikers down, hardly premeditated murder is it?
