Have moved address so need (?) to update the address on the licence

So Knowing how the dvla retards totally F@@@@ things up all the time,
kinda worried that they will either:

1: Remove my A entitlement.

2: state they have no record of me licence wise.

3: send the updated licence back to the previous address with the previous details 2-3 times..

etc..

All of these above have happened to family members.

should try find my licence my 'misplaced' licence? i'm cheap don't want to pay £20 for bit of card lol.

i will copy licence things when foundage.

Then the v5c lol Thumbs Up

Fill in the bit of the form that states you've lost your licence and stump up the fee, it's the only way you have of recouping any lost entitlements, the fuds at DVLA will not accept a photocopy as proof!

Whaaaaaa

You haven't had to do that for aaaaages.

Change the address on your licence online - they send a new one out to you straight away. Keep your old one while that happens.

They then ask for the old one back. You can either send it back when you have the new one or not at all, they don't seem to check.

This, with no extra "lostness" needed. I did exactly this; when the new one arrived I double-checked it against my old one and when I had confirmed it was OK I then sent the old one off to them, as requested.

Because a licence with a redundant address on it is redundant.

I did it on line, iirc they asked to send the old one back or destroy it. I lost it in my top draw full of old crap I never look at instead.

I'm moving nearer Rogerborg Wub in a couple of months, and I'm dreading changing my lovely green, paper only, licence with it's myriad of entitlements, for this new fangled young persons photo stuff

seriously how badly can they fek up?
