Depends what they want from biking.
If the speed and acceleration is appealing then a pillion ride on a big bike, even if they don't go fast but the acceleration is a lot faster than a 125, then it probably would make them want to do their tests quicker and get a big bike.
However there are people that aren't really interested in bikes that much and only got a 125 because of how cheap they are to run, and also the people that actually like plodding around never going fast, not overtaking etc. For those I don't think it would make a difference to most of them although it might open a few eyes to how fast big bikes are |

I knew I wanted to pass my tests asap anyway, but after going on a couple of my mates bikes and then a jizzed up back wheel action ride from paddy on his TTR 600 I got the shit sorted out

My flatmate took me on the back of his Blade for half hour.
A lot of fun.. definetely not as pant-wetting as I expected, but it did make me wonder what the point of all that speed is unless you're on a track every sunday.
Yes, i'm still happy on my manageable and comfortable 125, for now at least |

Personally riding pillion shits me right up absolutely hate it, but maybe thats because i'm so used to being in control of the bike, i'd rather ride on top of a car strapped to the roof personally |
