Evening all, sorry to ask a really stupid question but I used to own a Mk1 bandit which had a cover that wrapped itself round very closely to the rear tyre and also covered the chain. I believe it was to reduce the amount of crud that flicked itself up into the rear suspension area.
Can't for the life of me think of what it's official parts name is as have recently bought another Bandit but it doesn't have one. Would like to get one before winter kicks in.
Cheers guys.

I would say a hugger rather than a fender

To me "fender" is primarily an american term for a car bumper but also refers to the rear part of the undertray on a motorcyle that extends down towards the licence plate.

The "fender" is what you'd call the "wing" on a car.
