Any ideas on an upgrade?? I love the bike but i cant go any where because the fuel range is killing me -.- ... Was wondering if one of the enduro tanks from either a Domi or and XR would fit, plan is to get some off road tires and ride to the Sahara lol, shame all my mates have proper trailes.

But anyway any ideas on the fuel tank? I know acerbis do them for the Dominator and XR but nout for my poor FMX Sad

Cheers

As much as it sucks to hear (I also owned an FMX650), it would be far easier selling and buying yourself another bike. I went through the tank issue, and most things I could find came from the U.S. Even then, it would have been a pig with the necessary modifications to make it fit.

Besides, the FMX is a heavy bike for what it is. Putting off road tyres on would entail changing the front wheel for something larger, bearings, machining etc.

Good luck whatever you do. Thumbs Up
