I currently own a 2007 honda cbr 125...bit battered and bruised but none the less a sweet little first bike!
However i want to Experiance a 2 stroke. I have no time for doing my test and such (work ) and was wondering if i should get a brand new 2013 aprilia rs125 11kw or a fp 2011 one with 5900 miles on the clock. |

Here's how to get that 'two-stroke-experience'
1/ Sell your bike.
2/ Give all your money to Charity
3/ Walk every where
4/ Go home, smear yourself in old engine oil.
Same effect without so much mess, or the boss moaning you are late for work again, cos the bike broke down.
CBR is as much as you can have on a l-plates.... so man up, book a holiday do tests or learn patience..... if you got an Aprillia... you would need all three! ____________________ My Webby'Tef's-tQ, loads of stuff about my bikes, my Land-Rovers, and the stuff I do with them!

Just not sure how to go about it, had my cbr for two years and ive had all of the fun i can with it, yes i can get a bigger bike than a 125 but its just more of a convenience. I also only really want to use it occasionally as i have a car now for the winter months |
Sports Stroker + Convenience in the same sentence just doesn't work... sorry.
CBR is as much convenience and as much exitement as you can have, legally on L-Plates. Face it.
Restricted RS is just frustration by the Fuck-load. It's not a quick bike, even de-restricted. And its a bludy fickly little italian darling that needs lots and lots of tener care and sweet-talking for very few moments of minor joy.... for which you need to have a full licence any way.
You might as well suffer the small inconvenience of taking the bludy tests...
And THEN if you must have a sports-stroker... well, you might at least enjoy those few moments when the needy little lady 'gives out' if you MUST have an RS.
But, dont need to be so hampered. Plenty of bikes out there that can 'deliver' more than your CBR has to offer, and do it a darn site more economically, and with a fucksite less hassle.
If you want a two-stroke? What about an original TZR250? Bang on 45bhp limit ISTR; probably as cheap to buy, insure and run, and like as not just as unreliable as an RS.... but.... chunk more bang for your buck.
BUT Two years on L's? Come on!!!!!
How much more you going to 'Learn'?
If you ent up to scratch for tests by now... give the fuck up! Biking ent for you.
Elsewise.... stop pratting about PRETENDING to be a bludy learner! You COULD take tests, so the restrictions are all entirely self imposed; MAN the FUCK UP! Earn your road room, prove you deserve it, and don't deny yourself ALL biking might offer.
You are being lazy or plain daft, and making excuses, not progress!
Come on... what would you REALLY rather have? A fancy, little bike, that is not actually all that fast, for all its looks, ruined by the L-Plate any-way, advertising your lowly 'Boy-Racer' wants to play with the big-boys aspirations..... OR a proper big-boy, big bike, that says 'I've made it'.
Learner-Restrictions are self imposed..... you KNOW the answer... you KNOW it makes sense....... get on with it!
