So last night, I get a random call from this old gent. He asks about 'my' bike club.
I ask him where he got my number and he says the bloke at the plough pub said I'm the president of the bike club, and gave him my number.
He was a 66 year old gent, riding a 1200 bandit who wanted to join a motorcycle club and was asking my permission, as the president. I tried explaining that it was a forum and we mainly existed online however he doesn't know how to use a computer. He wanted to come along to this bash and I said that I couldn't authorize that, he sounded rather upset at this and asked if I could ask the rest of you if he could come.

Edit: He mentioned that he wanted to go on charity rides, I didn't even say anything to this, thinking of BCF's response.

Well, I'll still be there Friday PM, going to silverstone on Saturday morning, and then back to the campsite Saturday evening.

What time are those that are still going planning on getting there on Friday? It's about 90 mins from my work, so I can get there from about 4.30-5pm??
