A neighbour of mine's house got broken into on Saturday, the scally wags searched through the house taking all of car keys (he has about 5 cars) they take one car out of his garage, rolled it down the road an scarper when another neighbours dogs all start kicking off

because the toe-rags had taken all the keys, Mr Neighbour had no way of putting the car back in the garage, so he left it where it was, but removed all the wheels.

Last night the swines returned to take the car, the first we hear of it is smashing glass as the coppers are smashing the windows of the car the naughty boys are in, 2 mins later 5 scumbags cuffed an moaning that the cuffs are too tight, face down on the floor woohoo!!!

i hate tea leaves

carry on

4/10 on the warped story scale.

Next time, insist it was hobbits stealing the car.

I don't quite get it. Why would they be pushing the car down the street when they could drive it - and why would they not drive it off instead of run off when the neighbours dogs went crazy?

Then secondly, why would they get back in a car that has no wheels when they have the keys for 4 cars with wheels? Confused

Because they don't want to let the occupants hear the car start up? There has been a massive outcry recently about BMW's that can reprogram blank keys using a handheld OBDII tool. On the Watchdog programme that featured it, the tea leaves pushed the 1 series M they were stealing up the road before firing it up.

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.

A couple of years back a guy at my dads work has his house broke into, they stole 2 sets of car keys, moved the dads BMW to the front of the house and stole the sons Focus RS, few days later it had been used in a robbery. How weird :/

they generally push the car down the road so they can work on it without being distrubed

i can only imagine they had brought wheels with them to take the car away

the car they were trying to steal hadn't run for month an had a dead battery...i doubt they knew this though

i wouldnt mind, but the car they were trying to get was a 2.8 V6 M reg is it really worth it??

For the slap on the wrist and old "don't do that again, sonny" they'd get.

Yes... it was worth it.

I can understand pushing it away to work on it if you need to hotwire it or if it's a non-runner. I guess my train of thought is that if you've got the keys, you'd just drive it away. By that stage it's the getaway and so long as you get out of there, altering the occupants isn't such a huge issue.

I know I'd certainly sleep through someone starting a bike/car on my drive. Laughing

They do what they do because they are thick pikey subhuman bipedal vermin.

Normally I'd agree that they'll get nothing for the attempted TWOC, but domestic burglary might, and I stress might, get them a few months honing their X Box skills and making some useful contacts in a Young Offenders Holiday Camp.
