Went to look at a Thundercat today. 1996 N Reg but looks ace for its age. Fairing looks like new and just a few areas of question here and there. It is priced at £2700. For that the bike will have a years MOT, 3 month warranty, new hoses, air and oil filter change and a full service. Bike has covered 14500 miles and it sounded sweet. Took it for a test ride as well and it was all good.

The only problem is that it is the first bike I have looked at so I have nothing to compare it with. All I know is that it LOVED IT!

Mate came to look as well and he said it was ok. Is the bike priced about right and should I go for it or keep looking?

£2700 is a bit overpriced.

As for the fairing looking brand new, it could be that its hardly been on the bike, check for track use and crash damage etc.

Best way to check for track use is look for holes in the sump plug etc, or if that looks new then its deffo an ex track bike.

On the price front theres a T Reg T'cat on Biketrader for less than that!

I think that £2700 might be a tad too much.

I got my 1998 bike, which was mint and only 9600 miles for £2400.

Keep looking around. Thumbs Up
