Looks like the ref has always been a twat.

Slow-mo replay showed the ref saying "Push" after he disallowed it. Reply after replay, noone can see a push - it's a disgrace.

Oh, and if you don't like football or care about the game, then stay out this thread, just let people who want to talk about football talk about it.

Football is now the only major sport (AFAIK) that doesn't use some sort of video replay system.

Cricket, rugby, horse racing even golf for f*cks sake, all use some sort of video aid.

If he has come under question, then he should not be a referee in a major tournament, you can call it an excuse, but that goal was totaly legit and just cost us our place in the semi finals!

Beckham was dissapointing, expected more from Gerrard and Owen should have got more goals.

I know england aren't the best team in the competition, but they played hard to win, and should have won.

Its not rigging, it poor reffing.The linesman gave the goal, but the stupid ref though there was a push because of the cheating, moaning DIVING portguese.

The goalie dived down. Contact was not made...the portugese were diving genrally. You didnt see the english play like that, they stayed on their feet, and played to win with passion and fairness.
