Went to get gogo juice pulled up at the pump could not get the fuel cap off! Key goes in but will not turn came home wd40 it all still no joy worked fine the other day. Its the push down to lock type on a honda ns 125 f 1988

Get some oil in there, then jiggle the key whilst putting downward pressure on the cap. It's probably just dried out, or the key has worn out.
