Hey peeps, got a bit of an issue with the old (style) girl.

Side lights, indicators and tail lights work, but there's no power coming to the headlight at all, low beam, high beam and passing light all yield no results. Bulb is fine so it's a bit of a mystery.
I've found one fuse on the bike which is fine. Does anyone know if there is another for the headlight? Anywhere. Or where I might get a wiring diagram?

It's a 2002 500cc bullet. And I need it fixed so it can be MOT'd before I try and sell it. And on that note, what does BCF think it might be worth?

It's covered 700miles from new. One owner: my Dad.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

You running the engine when you try them?

Later models have direct lighting, the headlight only comes on when the engine is running.

EDIT: If you look under the saddle, check to see if there is a small black box, about the size of a small matchbox, attached to the frame by a metal tang with one blue and one black wire coming out of it. If it has this (an AC regulator), it is one of the models with direct lighting.

I did the 2010 Round Britain Rally on my 350 Bullet. 89 landmarks, 3 months, 9,500 miles.

You Nailed it! My dads starting to loose the odd marble I think. He should've remembered that one! Taxed and MOT'd, now just got to sell it.

Caught both me and the MOT tester out when I took my 350 bullet for it's first MOT right after I bought it (I picked it up in the van and took it home via the MOT centre). We landed up taping up the lights and doing a daylight MOT having spent half an hour stripping the switch and testing wires with a multimeter.

I started it up to ride it back into the van and the headlight came on. Red faces all round. Embarassed
