It was too dark both times I went past to take any pictures of my own but the thing is immense and incredible. The Trent-Severn waterway it services took so long to build it was all but pointless for industrial purposes the day it was completed (the Welland Canal around Niagara, which I posted pictures of before, as well as the rail network) so now it's maintained for recreational boating. It's a real marvel of engineering, that thing.

Not sure if it's true or not, but that's been so well engineered it only uses about the same as a kettle Laughing

It's apparently true, the whole thing was on how's it made before. Actually quite interesting.
