Just saw that Halfords motorcycle engine oil is now reduced from £28.99 to £20.29 for 5 litres.

Includes 10w40 semi and a few others as well. Thumbs Up

Seems like a decent price to me so off to Halfords I go.

That is also out of stock in every Halfords up to 20 miles from me, so it is possibly the same in other places.

Never been impressed with Halfords bike oil, seems piss thin to me.

I use silkolene 10-40w workshop oil in the 25L bottle, get it trade from milvertons in brum.

I stocked up on the £10 car oil when the deal was on but I also noticed that Asda were doing the same thing. Might be worth looking into. Thumbs Up

^^^^ Agreed.

I do wonder what some people think goes on. Halfords haven't got their own little well and refinery. It's just rebranded mainsteam oil.

The viscosity will be printed on the label. If it's 10W-40 it's 10W-40, just like a 10W-40 from Silkolene, Comma, Castrol, Tesco and the rest.

I stand by my previous statement Halfords 10-40 bike oil seems piss thin compared to most other 10-40 bike oil. I had to do a double take on the label to check I hadn't accidentally picked up 5-30 or something.
