Just back from my Mod 2 in Enfield, I failed and I am absolutely gutted! Two serious faults, I indicated too early when asked to turn right at the lights, and I indicated right while going straight at a big roundabout. Back to the drawing board, I can only look at the bright side... Better to fail and work on my weaknesses, than to pass not being aware of riding a big bike un safely I suppose.

Mod 2 again in September if I can afford it!

It's not exactly back to the drawing board mate, you don't have to start all over again.
You know where you went wrong, and what to look out for. You'll ace it next time.. Good luck Wink

The things you failed on are easy to rectify. ..just more awareness really. Its not like you cant ride the bike or anything. I bet if you took it again tomorrow youd pass.

With the kinds of people on the road today I am suprised they concider those serious faults.

See lots of people leaving their indicators on forever.

Bad luck mate, although theyre 'serious faults' and obviously have potential to be dangerous i guess, they're not the worst you could of done, just forgetful/small errors really in terms of a test. If that was the only issues i would think you should pass next time with flying colours Thumbs Up

Good luck for the next one

here i go being the devils advocate - if you don't indicate the right way at a roundabout when you're really concentrating, you're need to iron it out or you'll be a menace to roadusers going forward. concentrate, fix your errors and become a great rider. xx

I failed first time by leaving the indicator on after turning into a junction, it happens.

You'll know what to do next time though Thumbs Up

What other way is he likely to go on a bike?

Good luck dude,

A mate of mine failed his the other week because he thought he'd indicated right to go around the roundabout, he hadn't pushed the button quite far enough so it didn't work ...

Indicating incorrectly is nerves I think, you'll smash it next time, you now know exactly the format of the tests rather than reading it.

Yes it's expensive but ... soon you'll have the pink licence with a picture of a motorbike on the back with dates and shit rather than empty boxes!!

Probably a chick.

Dude, just take the test again and you'll pass. The only downside to the wait is if they kick off WW3 before then, although you could make lemonade... post nuclear apocalypse survival bike, no test or licence needed Twisted Evil
