Hi

They dyno them by picking a high gear and giving them full throttle (works OK on a CV carbed bike, lousy idea on a slide carbed bike, will depend on how the fuel inejcted bike is set up but should be fine for most). The rate they accelerate a weighted drum with the back wheel is used to calculate the power.

A power commander is a little bodge box of tricks. It goes in the wiring before the ecu on an injected bike. It modifies the signals from the ecu to affect the fueling (and on some models the ignition timing).

All the best

Keith
