Happened to me with my CG-copy engine.

It ran fine up to about 1/8th throttle but flooded and died as soon as the throttle was opened wider. I had the carb apart with a multitool and sorted it at the roadside, so two fingers up to the 'professional' who was giving it bigguns with his opinion but couldn't be arsed actually following through and seeing if he was right. ____________________ Biking is 1/20th as dangerous as horse riding.

Good work. Got a fuel filter fitted? Worth a few £££ to save hassle in future. ____________________ Biking is 1/20th as dangerous as horse riding.

It has one, but I didn't think to check it while working on the bike. Bit dim really, will check it tomorrow and clean it, will replace it if it needs it.
Cheers for the advice ____________________ CG125, SV650S, CBR600F, GSXR600 SRAD |
