Hey guys, me again. More bike problems sadly.

So my Clutch Cable snapped on me and I got a new one, installed it and it will not start. It says "CHEC" for Check Engine.
I noticed that I can change gears without holding in the clutch so that tells me I either didn't install (Or adjust) the cable correctly or something is broken causing it to shift without the clutch.
I did everything in this video:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lUUWlcWIG78

Except I put the Adjustment Knob on without fiddling with the Adjustment Screw/Locking Nut. Is that the problem? Do I need to fiddle with the Adjustment Screw to make the gears shift with clutch?

Need help ASAP... Taking the V8 to work everyday is costing me $30 in fuel - DAILY!
Thanks for reading.
