Hi guys/girls..
I have recently purchased a Honda CG125 1992 with a years tax and M.O.T for... wait for it...... £200 (plus my moped)
Just needs a speedo cable and a little TLC..
I want to paint the engine casing to make it look a bit smarter.. (thinking black with the honda part red... thoughts?)
Any suggestions on which paint to use? And any other advice regarding getting a cg125 back to its prime?
Thanks
Dan...

I really like plastikote BBQ paint for engine casings.

Brings them up lovely but remember to take care for the first few days until it's gone fully hard.

Around a fiver a can off the top of my head. Any hardware store will stock it.

The quality of the finish you achieve is directly proportional to the amount of time you spend prepping the surface.
