Much the same story as the rest of the summer: peds and 125s sales are way down, but bigger bikes are recovering.
Sales of >1000cc bikes are up a whopping 21.8% on last August. 125-650cc are up 4.4%, but that's down on a year-to-date rise of 12.9%.
Honda and Yamaha remain comfortably in the lead (the YBR is both the top selling 125 and the top selling naked bike), with Triumph 3rd and Piaggo nipping at their heels, even though scooters in all capacities are down.
Lexmoto are now firmly ensconced in the middle of the top 10, with Suzuki once again muddling along in 10th place, below even Harley.
Overall pretty good, with the one point of concern being that the fall in smaller capacities may be down to potential bikers sacking it off as a bad idea due to the new licensing. We'll need to see full year CBT and test figures before we know that though. ____________________ Biking is 1/20th as dangerous as horse riding.
