"Interesting" - no useful seller feedback, but buyer feedback for some Hornet crash mushrooms that match another bike they had up for sale, suggesting that bike at least existed.

Even as a write off, the DRZ seems ok value.

Wouldn't expect someone to be being quite so 'open' if it was stolen stuff, but if they've got a source of legit frames, quite possible for making a quick buck, I suppose.

Not impossible to sell bikes cheaply and still make money, but less likely for it to actually happen!

A bike that "Bike runs superb starts straight off the button " can still have a major problem that becomes obvious after a few hours of riding.....

Because they're really popular, they're all over YouTube videos, endless amounts of after market parts and ways to modify them, reliable, good looking etc. they also aren't in production anymore, at least not in the UK.

I think they were around £4,000 when they were new. I know someone who got his brand new, 0 miles for something like £3,800 when Suzuki were getting rid of them due to emissions laws.

There's not really much competition in the 'reasonably reliable' category for reasonably light weight bikes without being pretty expensive - ie KTM690/TE610.
Not a massive fan myself, but did enjoy my CCM well enough (DRZ-E motor in a little lighter package with better suspension and slot in SM wheels.)

Yamaha DTX 125 would be much better but another 4 stroke 125 isn't an upgrade Neutral

125 + handling = lol.

The only decent handling 125 I've ridden was an RS125. Every other one has felt the same, basic and bland.

I considered one before buying my XR, but I'm a bit short in the leg (average height), and I've never seen one for sale that hasn't been de-restricted Laughing

I wouldn't get another dt125. My dt125r had the most annoying powerband ever. To get up steep hills I had to make sure it was in the powerband (which was very high up in the revs) otherwise it would crawl at an annoying 20mph. Offroad it was useless as there was no low end torque and as soon as I hit the powerband the bad end would slide out.. The throttle was more of an off/on switch if anything.. Not what you want offroad.

I realise it was probably due to it not having the electronic power valve so if you do decide to buy one make sure it's the later model that has one installed.
