Good evening,
I overhauled my bike today by taking the tank, throttle boddies and everything else off , clean it and then put it back in .
when finished and all put back together then realised there are some wire which are very close to engine and they may overheat and burn etc . I think it has been like this forever but not sure maybe it is me after today putting to gether haven't done it right but again there were no cables ties etc to clean them up.
Here are some pics of it, should I tie them up or they would be safe

I can't see that it'll be a problem. ____________________ Yamaha YZF-R6 |

The cable insulation should be rated to about 105degrees if its PVC, about 125degrees if its crosslinked.
The wrap is usually rated to something stupid like 400 degrees, so it should be fine, unless you wrap it around the exhaust or something. ____________________ Current Bikes:Honda 929RR Fireblade, Honda CD200 Benly (Project), Stomp Z2 140
