Anyways, just a quicky -

I sold the Drz400 and bought myself a new toy Smile

What do ya think?!

Had it just over a week now, loving it! Razz Razz

How did you find going from the DRZ to a sports bike? I'm considering changing my KTM 690 for a 600 sports. I bet the power difference is massive.

Lol 690 to a 600 sports??

Are you going gay?

Just sold my '09 zx6 because I wasn't riding it enough, the power isn't crazy and certainly not as fun a throwing my old drz sm around which was impossible to kill.

One of these days I'll have to have a go of a sports bike (I don't think my mates Bandit counts, or at least I hope not because I wasn't impressed), having only owned supermotos (DRZ, 690 SMC) it would be nice to see what's what. Just not a fan of the I4 sound at all Razz

I had a FZR400 before the DRZ so as soon as I passed my test I was on a sports bike (an old one but still!) so it felt weirder going from a sportsbike to an enduro, but swapping back was the best thing I've done.. I love cornering too much to stay on an enduro, and the power (Idk what was wrong with your zx9) is insane compared to the DRZ. I'm only missing the DRZ for the wheelies and fun offroad..
The M1 sticker is part of the paintscheme so I'm staying with it Smile

It might only be a 600 but it pulls like mad. I've ridden my Dad's R1 and that was a bit too much at the time of riding it, but this seems perfect. Pulls like a train as soon as you get over 9k revs especially. Had it to 172mph on the speedo (obviously speedo's do tell a bit of a fib) but was easily 160mph legit.

I love it Smile

I was recently considering changing my GSXR for a supermoto. Ktm or something.

Still wish I had the balls and done it. But I am doing more motorway miles now.

Still secretly want an SM

Funny i find i corner much better, faster on the 990SM (on the road) than i ever did on the sportsbikes ive still got a R1 but feels like a heavy tank compared to the SM.
