Anyone enjoy them? I used to love it as a kid and I haven't done one in well over 10 years, but I decided to get a 3000 piece to keep me entertained over the rest of the summer Smile

I'm slightly worried it might be ridiculously hard because of how few easy solid lines there are to go from but I'll make it my mission to get it done haha..
Anyone got any nice ones mounted?

I have a bad relationship with jigsaws. I think they're wankers. You look at them and are totally won over by the beautiful image on the box, then you open it and... you just can't be arsed! And if you do finish it... you marvel at it for a moment, and then what?! Smash it to pieces! Hence, for me, jigsaws are in the same category as snowmen and sandcastles. Make'n'break!

That's what I think of them anyway Laughing

I'm spending my quiet evenings sewing electrical cable into an old cycling jersey. Come the winter I'll hopefully have a nice heated jacket for the bike.
Jigsaws are nice too.

I've seen people frame them and hang them on a wall

I did one over Xmas.

Was pretty shit tbh, I needed to finish it even though I wasn't enjoying it and when I finally completed it, a piece was missing. Brand new puzzle in a sealed bag and poxy piece was missing. Fuck you puzzlecunt.

I've seen people do that with them too.... Never understood it personally. Why not save the time and hassle and buy a ready made jigsaw (without the cut marks of course), to hang on the wall

I'm planning on gluing and hanging it up when it's finished because I like the picture and it will be an achievement.
I've done a couple of hours today and bloody hell!
The sky alone is made up of about 800-900 pieces with no lines or anything to really go on ... Took like an hour just to separate the sky pieces from the rest Shocked
I need to have it finished by the end of September when my housemates move in cause I've got it in the middle of the living room at the moment Laughing

I did one the other day, the misses is doing some promotional work for McDonalds and she came back with loads of stuff to do with Smurfs, and in there was a puzzle....well a sheet of card which you could break up into a puzzle, I just coloured it in and pretended like I did it.... then I might have found some face paint and a balloon Thinking

Puzzlecunt? Was that the actual brand name? Puzzlecunt? That would rule. I'd totally buy one of their jigsaws lol.

Inspired by this thread and having some time on my hands I finally finished the "Where's Wally?" puzzle that's been under the sofa for eight months.

https://img.photobucket.com/albums/v619/baldgit/photo_zps3d6443d2.jpg

That was my first proper puzzle in 35 years and hopefully the last for another 35 years.

Hardest one I attempted and gave up was a bowl of baked beans.

Some thundercunt decided that would be a good idea... 500 piece puzzle Laughing

Don't go there! We accidentally got caught in a jigsaw vortex and lost three days of our lives, only to find....

...we'd lost John Lennon's knee.

I was only ever 17 the once too. Shocked

I gave up doing Jig-saws when the one of a chicken I was doing was ate by the dog. I contacted the makers for the missing pieces, but they never replied, but that's Kellogg's for you. Shocked

I finished it! Took over 50 hours to complete Shocked
Now I need to glue and frame it, but I really don't know where to get a frame that big without spending loads.. It's 120cmx85cm, any ideas? Custom frames seem to be minimum 50-60 quid which is twice what I paid for the puzzle!
Anyway here it is Very Happy
