Hi all, anyone used anything lately, all sites seem to go to the same back end source, which are all online only (no over the phone sales), but they don't have bikes listed in the initial drop down menu, example site below....

thanks!

when I was looking it appears there used to be a fair bunch who provided this but they have all dropped the option for bikes and now only do cars/vans.

I know one company dropped it as they lost the underwriters for it and haven't got any since...

As far as I'm concerned there is no 1 day or 7-30day insurance available. I looked everywhere and could not find anything or when I did, they were all not working.

The only thing you could do is insure a bike normally and cancel the policy after a day or two BUT as far as aware you would have to pay a cancellation fee ( it varies depending on insurer). Not worth the money as some insurers charge like 70 quid to cancel policy...

If you cancel early enough then they should only charge the reasonable cost of setting up the policy, not any form of "cancellation" fee.

That doesn't mean that they won't, but they shouldn't. I believe the FOS has also held up to £50 to be reasonable, which is of course twonk as you can get a policy for not much more than that.
