You don't actually need to be a genius to work out that short and a t-shirt will offer basically nothing in way of protection in a crash. I feel sorry for him, but he could have prevented that happening and by riding around dressed in short and a t-shirt one day you'll learn your lesson the hard way.

At least he's still alive, and hopefully others will be able to see from that how daft it is riding around dressed like that.

what ever the wether is doing i NEVER NEVER NEVER ride without full protection leathers boots gloves and lid (of corse) life only come this way once and i intend to make the most of it

When I came off the other day I was wearing a leather jacket and jeans. I was only going about 25mph but that was enough to rip my jeans slightly and take the skin off my knees. Had it have been raining I would have been wearing my all weather trousers with knee and hip protection. I was lucky I was only going slow, but the lesson is still learned. Time for leathers and sliders!

Edit: Should I practice getting my knee down or wait for a bigger bike before trying? Is it easier on a bigger machine?
