So, this morning I was driving down a road near my house in my car which has a really low railway bridge at the end of it.

Following a very large van.... I thought to myself, this is going to end in tears.

Now, I've seem the outcome of this as my neighbour used (note - used) to have a kebab van and obviously forgot he was driving it rther than his car. I'd come that way earlier in the day, seen the broken windscreen glass and wonderd which twat had tried to get under it.

Fucking pissed myself laughing when I got home and saw the shattered remains of his pride and joy parked up.

Anyway, the driver of the van was obviously aware of what he was driving and tried to inch his way under the bridge. Being a (semi) sensible, I stopped about 50 yards back in the middle of the road as I could see he wouldn't get under.

Whilst I was waiting in the middle of the road I got overtaken by two cars, who promptly has to reverse back out of the way when the van had to reverse.

I'm amazed by the stupidity...

On my driving test I was doing a 3 point turn. There was a car which was waiting for me in my target direction. Another car approached from behind the waiting car. I spotted it and kept an eye on it. What does it do? Wait?

Oh no. He overtakes the car which is waiting for me, as I'm 1/2 way through the 3rd and final part of the 3 point turn. Queue both of us doing emergency stops and the idiot reversing out of the way. Rolling Eyes

Because they are taught to pass a test, not to drive a car.

Sounds like a dangerous load. You should probably have an escort with you when moving a railway bridge... most truckers seem to Wink Twisted Evil

Saw the same last month. One car overtook about 20 and when he realised it was a roadworks with single lane oncoming decided to ACCELERATE towards them, slammed brakes on, swerved into cones. Waited for oncoming cars to pass and continues on like nothing happened. Makes me want go write my will sometimes...
