Im thinking of buying a cheap VFR to chop about a bit, but I don't want the side mounted radiators type, does anyone know from which model they were fitted so I can avoid it?

Thanks

I think the first 800's had side rads, the 750's all had front mounted rads IIRC.

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.

I remember the inovative space saving design on my mate's 800 wot shoved a small end into the cylinder wall. SOunded like a Winget two bag cement mixer.
I think it was an 05 bike. Not at all certain.
The radiators still loooked well posh even if it did sound sick.
