seat comfortability

okay iv had my bike off the road for about 4 months now and got it back on the road Monday only to remember how uncomfortable the seat is

its quite a thin seat and not very padded and I have a big ass hah

what can I do to the seat to make it more comfy as I am going to be doing 200 mile round trips to see the gf at uni soon and I think my ass will die after that many miles

the bike is a 06 CBR125 if that matters at all

Not sure where you're located but i took mine to Tony Archers in huddersfield where they resculptured my seat and put some extra padding inside it. Made the world of difference, before i had to stop after about an hour but now i can ride for about three hours without stopping.
Only cost 80 and took em about 4 days. Highly recommend them

Poundland. 2 x U -shaped bead filled neck pillow. Arrange as required, bit of duck tape across the bottom. Lay on seat. Enjoy.

Worst case you're down £2 and a few pennies for the tape, and you have two neck pillows.

I treated myself to a new seat by Bagster, very comfy but expensive new, they do come up on the bay of E though.

I had my seat done by CM Seats (https://www.cmseats.com/page19.html) in Coventry. The bloke who does them is very, very good and there was a quick turn around time too. It cost me £290 for the seat to be lowered, gelastic inserts, reshaped, built up at the rear for the pillion, recovered and posted.

If you have the money, I can't recommend him enough (his name escapes me).

Ones I've used were sold for bikes, but likely similar.
I got a massive one from Ikea for £20 (supposed to be a rug), but not used it on a bike yet.

Not as comfy as it looks, but does help.
