Generally a bit less than a similar KTM.

I doubt they've got better parts availability than KTM - generally KTM is very good and there's a lot of spares out there.

However, a very viable option. Generally as good as a similar KTM - so nice and light with a broad range of power.

i've been looking at the gas gas ec 300 r 2014 , it looks like a great bike .

Great bike the EC300, but same as any bike it depends if the maintenance and servicing. They are a bit tamer in the power delivery than the 300EXC but the power is very smooth right through the rev range IMHO.
But its no slouch....Ashby Moto Park

My mate rides a 2007 EC250 and it's a good bike, nice looking too, I would have one if I wasn't such a KTM fanboy Laughing

Had a good blast this weekend actually, lots of fallen trees so a mixture of trials and enduro on the lanes was needed Very Happy
