Hi all, does anyone know where I can get some piston rings for a hyosung gt 125 comet 2003?
Ive only found a piston and rings set but they wont sell the rings separate because they only fit their pistons, apparently.
Thanks, Grant

Nope, even hyosungsource.com only has them as piston + rings. About £36 each plus shipping and import duty rape.

Parts supply for Hyosungs is woeful - I'm pondering rescuing one from a workmate, but this bullshit really puts me off.

The Intruder is SOHC, the Hyosungs are DOHC (2 cylinders, 4 cams, 8 valves). Lovely, but fiddly.

How have you managed to trash the existing rings?
