This was in the metro this morning. A (huge) group of bikers chasing a car with a beating at the end. I love how many riders now have a decent camera.

It's a new craze where bike killers don't use a gun they just hi-jack some kid and drive around mashing into bike gangs in the hope the injured party's will see the child and not seek recompense.

Were they just supposed to let it go?

I think you will find Clancy that after the initial 'bump' a group went over to the car, this is where the bikers should have asked for his details and had a word with him but instead the meat heads went over and started damaging his car - the driver had his wife and child in the car - would you try and reason with a pack of animals who are damaging your car and making you fear for your life or would you gtfo of there??????? I know what i would do Twisted Evil

I'm not saying what the bikers done was right in anyway it's just at the beginning you can't see wgat happens all you see is the driver run a few people down. If someone left me at the scene of an accident I'd chase them too (wouldn't beat them into a coma however lol )

But yes if my family where in the car and I was scared I would run as well. I just can't see how it would get to that stage if he had just pulled over and exchanged details with the bike he bumped. Sonething else went on before this video I think

In all honesty I'd be raging if someone drove off from an accident. Irrelevant of if they were intimidated etc. I'm sure if he'd of said sorry and offered to pay that would be the end of it

That's just it though mate, he didn't get the chance to say sorry and pay as they started attacking his car straight away.

You can't say 'Irrelevant of if they were intimidated etc.' as it's the intimidated/fearing for life that made him bolt it, there is no way on earth i would put my other half and child at risk if there was a way to get out of it.

If they were not being aggro in the first place he wouldn't of drove off, it's a bit pussy to surround a car (lots of bikes) and intimidate isnt it? Big groups of pricks like that don't reason or act sensible, mob mentality is the way they know. sad.

No serious injury and some extensive property damage but a bunch of kittens, in the back of a people carrier driven by a vegan lezbo, got such a scare they ruined a week's worth of kitty litter and have been off their kibble ever since. Shocked

The internet said dead, the police said broken legs, the internet revised it's diagnosis to paralysed and posted a picture I'd seen before as proof. I think the police got it right.

Also, it's really difficult to see the first stop on the video and the guy doing the brake checking looked like he already had some kind of beef with him.

I'd really like to see the time leading up to the video.

The problem with the "fearing for safety" idea is that it can be used on anyone who isn't a nicely dressed, small woman driving a smart...

Because of the amount of people a small incident turned into a big thing. People who didn't see what happened made assumptions and jumped on the band wagon (or Range Rover)

I seen it a couple of times in Ghana in busy market places.
One famous cause of mob beatings was when there was a rumour going around that 'there were robbahs (pick-pockets from Nigeria) who have JuJu (Black Magic) and if they rob someone and anyone tries to apprehend the robbah then the have-a-go-hero will have his/her genitals drop-off'.
So anyone suspected of or caught pick-pocketing would get 'beated' to a pulp by two or three hundred terrified Joe Public.
Like being set upon by a Millwall home crowd.

This of course was driven by myth as although there are plenty of robbahs from Nigeria none of them possess this JuJu.
I never worked out how you could beat a JuJu man and not touch him though. Rolling Eyes

Mob Hysteria is the JuJu.
