Just seen these Keis heated grips on offer on 2wheeljunkie and was thinking they might be good as a little present for Mr Yaigi, if they're not a pile of crap:

https://2wheeljunkie.co.uk/best-deals-section/our-best-weekly-deals/winter-warmers/keis-motorcycle-heated-grips/prod_47949.html?utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=AQUATEX+KEIS+GRIPS&utm_content=AQUATEX+KEIS+GRIPS+Version+B+CID_7734dec85b88cca4ee8278f2f7f52279&utm_source=Email%20marketing%20software&utm_term=WAS%204999%20NOW%201999

Anybody got them?

Keis grips were free with a £25 Ride subscription not too far in the past.

Haven't tried them though.

Some muff for a present might also be appropriate (both types).

Googling a review for them, guys say they're pretty good but only the "top" setting is worth using - the low power mode is crap unless you open it up and change a resistor in there.

For £20, not bad. Half tempted to get some but not sure how I'd fit them.

Some guy said rear brake light. Really? Just hook it up to that? I would've just put i on the battery...

But then if you forget to turn them off you'll have a flat battery

Ah, that's the issue then, having it turn off when you switch the engine off. I'd be no good with figuring that out, and wouldn't want to pay £40 just for someone else to do it for me as I bet it's not that hard to do Rolling Eyes

Still, £20 for those with a good review looks a bargain, then just get some muffs and you're sorted.

Would only ever use Daytona heated grips personally, they are just perfect.

Take the trigger for a relay from the live side of the rear brake light switch, heated grips + anything else you fancy through the relay and a suitable fuse. Thumbs Up
