Greetings
I got my mind on some bikes (all 125cc)
-Duke, nice bike, (also girls love it), expensive 😞 friend got one and says it is not so powerfull... I also wonder how it will react on any kind of offroading (jumps, mud, ...)
You guys know?
-yamaha Dt very fast and spicy bike ideal for offroading, cheap, how does it respond on the road? 😃
-yamaha wr series, don't know anything about these...
-husqvarna sms/smr, dont know anything about these either...
-there is also the ktm exc, but that one is really expensive...
You guys can help me? Recommend anything? What to buy/don't buy?
I prefer a 2-stroke because of the acceleration...

125s are slow. Buy something reliable that will keep you going for 2 years until you can get something decent.

I meant a reliable 125cc until you can get something decent. It's pointless trying to go for a fast 125cc because you'll either be riding otherwise in accordance of your licence or spending loads of extra cash for about 5-10mph extra top speed.

Two stroke is a fast 125. A four stroke is a shit slow 125 for safety nazis.

OP.... you're on L plates? What will the bike be used for?

The best three 125s are the WRs the Duke and the Honda Varadero. They all have good engines with the top HP allowed (14.9 HP) the WR and Varadero are full sized bikes as well so if your tall you won't look like your on a monkey bike. The Duke is smaller but is well designed and even though I'm 6'2" I wouldent have turned my nose up at one. They also hold value well and make a great second hand buy.

Dtr rm or a kmx the most reliable and cheap to repair parts are plentiful when needed great all round on off roaders reason they are still going strong now

husky great bike stupidly fast but not as reliable parts can be hard to find depending on model

wr looks good expensive 4t so not as quick but bulletproof yzf engine but a bit boring compared to 2t bikes

ktm duke awesome looking but need to sell a kidney to buy one and they are tiny
other ktm exc are bigger and better but again repair costs hurt

I did own a tm racing 125 for a short time its was brilliant and mad fast before it got borrowed one night off bad people

a varadero is the biggest on off road 125 bulletproof but a bit slow n sluggish not a good green laner due to weight but on the road its fine

Ive owned all of the above bikes myself minus the duke so this is just my opinion
on them I did enjoy them all but was a bit disappointed with reliability of a few
