Not that I am a tight arse or anything but I hate paying dealer prices for things I think I can do myself. I searched around the net and found this on an American web site. The Fz6r is the American name for the XJ6. There are some good detailed photos and tips on how to install the arms your self. I found fitting the arms easy with these pictures and saved a few quid for a few drinks after.
