125cc Problems splutter, holding back

[AndyBailey88]

I have the megelli 125R i know there not built for speed but 51 mph is no were near the 140kmh 86mph speed. theirs no restrictions on the bike as im told and research. all i no is that there pretty much the sam as a honda cb125 engine.

Problem is that gear 3-4-5 splutters. feels that is holding back seems like its wanting to go faster but splutters at about 7000 9000 revs and wont go above 51 mph ive had new carburetor, spark plug, ignition coil, inline fuel filter, front back sprockets and chain fitted and still faced with same problem.

if anyone could help it would much be appreciated

Check to see if the HT lead is connected to the plug (it may look like it is? Give a light tug, if it comes off just cut a small bit off the lead and then screw it back on.

Hope this helps
