Mark "Chopper" Read has died from liver cancer.

Whilst no doubt a notorious criminal, he preyed solely on other criminals and scallywags, I think this is why he had a unique charm and likeability about him. Not to mention he was a fucking funny guy, as anyone who has read his books, watched the "extras" on the Chopper DVD or the "Fatbelly" documentary will know.

Ah.. he will be remembered for a long time I imagine. Even though he was an unhinged criminal he was a likeable guy. I've only ever seen the film though.. will have to pick up the other material he's done.
